Joshua Montaño Bio

Joshua Montaño is the Chief Executive Officer of V&M Global Solutions, LLC.  Joshua received his BS in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from New Mexico State University in 1999 and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Mexico in 2001.  Joshua has worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory since 1994 with the exception of two years (2000-2001) where he worked at Sandia National Laboratory during graduate school and focused on robotics.

During his time at LANL Joshua has had the opportunity to mentor, manage projects and serves in a management position.  His areas of expertise are in the areas of robotics/automation, inspection/metrology/data analysis, and quality engineering/process control.

Joshua has published a several of conference proceedings in highly-regarded publications such Coordinate Measurement Society and The American Society for Precision Engineering.  Joshua has served as an adjunct professor, is a current member of the Technical Leadership Committee for Metrology Systems for the American Society for Precision Engineering, a Certified Quality Inspector from ASQ, Lean Six Sigma and a Quality Engineer from California State University at Dominguez Hills.
